PHOENICIAN PROPERTIES REALTY TAKES A PAWS FOR LOCAL CHARITY:

1st annual event helps Scottsdale non-profit place assistance dogs with those in need

(March 27, 2007—Scottsdale, Ariz.)—Pins were dropping and tails were wagging on March 3 when more than 15 Power Paws puppies-in-training joined guests at Scottsdale's Brunswick Via Linda Lanes bowling alley for the first annual "Pins for Paws," hosted by Phoenician Properties Realty in benefit of Power Paws Assistance Dogs.

Sponsorship teams from The Scottsdale Plaza Resort, Phoenician Properties Realty, Capital Title, True Mortgage and Mackie's Parlour: A Pet Boutique, as well as individual bowlers, all gathered to support Power Paws Assistance Dogs, Inc., a Scottsdale-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities by providing them with highly-skilled assistance dogs. The evening marked the first event hosted by Phoenician Properties Realty for the organization which has placed 30 assistance dogs with disabled children and adults since it was founded in 2001.

"It was such a rewarding experience for us here at Phoenician Properties Realty to be able to take a break from the day-to-day dealings of our company and contribute to Power Paws Assistance Dogs," says Joe Scarp, president of Phoenician Properties Realty. "It's an honor for us to take part in helping out a grass roots organization such as Power Paws who is making such a positive difference in the community. We can't wait to do it again next year!"

Event attendees enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres from Santa Barbara Catering before hitting the lanes to knock down some "Pins for Paws." Guests also had the opportunity to bid on an array of silent auction items including suite tickets to see Rod Stewart perform at Jobing.com Arena, dinner at Drinkwater's City Hall, a gift certificate to Molina Fine Jewelers, a complimentary haircut at Scottsdale's Robert Charles salon and $1,000 worth of in-home personal training from Zenergy Fitness. Attendees could also participate in a raffle for the chance to win a gift certificate to Dos Gringos. All funds raised went directly to Power Paws Assistance Dogs.

"The 'Pins for Paws' event was a great success and a lot of fun. The funds raised will be used to continue our mission of placing assistance dogs with people with disabilities," says Cynthia Abels, executive director of Power Paws Assistance Dogs, which anticipates placing 10 assistance dogs with disabled children and adults in 2007. "Our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Phoenician Properties!"
